Several of our clients are pioneers in dynamic and emerging industries, including wind, solar, natural gas and battery storage. We support and advise our renewable energy clients in connection with a wide range of matters relating to project development, acquisition, permit procurement, operation and valuation. Our extensive experience enables us to effectively counsel our clients, in advancing such innovative energy solutions.

Our experience in the renewable energy sector includes:

  • Collaborating with Article VII co-counsel on application materials to effectuate the PSC’s approval of offshore wind facilities.
  • Representing a battery storage project developer in connection with its due diligence efforts to assess the feasibility of potential sites, and to acquire properties and procure local municipal permits and zoning approvals in order to construct, operate and maintain battery energy storage facilities across the Long Island region.
  • Representing a power generation company with respect to procuring local municipal permits and approvals and pursuing litigation to construct an electric generation facility using natural gas powered fuel cells.
